Nobu

In my opinion, [Nobu] is to food as Picasso is to art. He gets crazy pieces of inspiration and creates his amazing dishes that do look like paintings. You might think, at first, that he was nuts, mixing shapes, cultures and flavors. But when you admire and experience what he created, a smile you suddenly comes to your face.

Appetizer: Yellowtail tartar & King Crab Tempura

We could not go to Nobu for restaurant week as they only serve lunch, but [Nobu Next Door] serves dinner as well. What is the difference? Except tradition and which one came first, just a few lamps and pieces of art.

Entree: Beef Toban Yaki & Broiled Black Cod with Miso

And how was their Restaurant Week Menu? Just simply Nobu. But cheaper. I totally recommend it, it should be on everyone's to-do list whenever coming to New York.

Dessert: Bento Box: chocolate cake and green tea icecream

Just one last note: if it's not Restaurant Week season, save some money before jumping on a cab to TriBeCa. Sorry, photos are not the best.
