High Line Walk

They say the best of New York happens when you've been here for so many times that you get to know the unknown. Today, as our last day with Fê's parents, we walked around Chelsea and Meatpacking District, starting with a delicious glass of milk and waffles at the [RonnyBrook MilkBar] in Chelsea Market.

Later on we found a very nice and cute path, the [High Line]. It used to be an elevated freight rail structure (trilho de trem em uma via acima do nivel da rua) around the 1930s and now "it's design and plantings are based on the environment that grew naturally when trains stopped running on it". Instead of a piece of abandoned smelly land crowded by homeless, it is a beautiful well kept area to go for a walk. But Milo couldn't come, no dogs allowed.
